THE SKETCHY BEHAVIOR BUNDLE

WHY IS TOO GOOD TO BE
TRUE SO CONVINCING?

THE SKETCHY BEHAVIOR BUNDLE

FOUR COURSES.
ONE COMMON THREAD.

What do MLMs, cults, online misinformation, and questionable professional opportunities have in common?

They work by arranging environments in which participation is reinforced, doubt becomes costly, and persuasive promises can carry more weight than observable outcomes. People may receive belonging, hope, certainty, attention, status, or the possibility of escape, even when the larger system places them at risk.

That is why this series does not ask, “Why would someone fall for that?” Instead, it examines the contingencies, relationships, platforms, and power structures shaping what people join, share, believe, buy, and struggle to leave.

Across four courses, you will explore these systems at multiple levels and learn to recognize the behavioral patterns connecting them.

From MLMs and high-control groups to viral misinformation and too-good-to-be-true career opportunities, predatory systems thrive by shaping behavior, not because people are gullible.
